Surf's Up Surf Camp is a summer camp for Valencia kids who would like to learn how to surf. The camp wil be held at Mondos Beach, Ventura.

What To Bring

We will provide an E-Z-Up tent and ice chest, however, the following are highly recommended:



Sunscreen:

Make sure you have waterproof SPF 30 or better and regularly apply during the course of the day. The reflection from the sand and water and the UV rays can ruin your day (and week) if you are not prepared.



Hat and Sunglasses:

These will help protect you from the harmful rays of the sun and provide comfort. They might even help you look cool.



Lunch and Snacks:

Please bring plenty of healthy food and drink that will provide energy and proper hydration. We will provide plenty of water and have an ice chest available for proper storage of food and energy drinks. Please try to avoid junk food and soda. On Thursday afternoon, the last day of camp, we will provide a meal at In-N-Out Burger in Ventura. The best tasting and healthiest fast food available!



Change of Clothes:

When you are finished surfing and ready to head for home, nothing feels better than a change of dry clothing. Please, also remember that the beach can be cold in the summer and a sweatshirt is often a good idea.



Towel:

All campers will need a towel (or two if you prefer) to dry off and stay comfortable. Please use a marker to personalize all your clothing and gear you choose to bring.
